About MHWC

Mile High Wrestling Club was founded in 2010 in honor and memory of Phil Nowick. We are an open enrollment, year-round wrestling academy with the mission of developing elite level wrestlers within the state of Colorado. We offer a high level curriculum to both kids (ages 6-14) and high school wrestlers. We have locations in Brighton, Centennial and Colorado Springs, making high level training accessible to the entire Denver Metro Area and beyond.

MHWC is different than many organized national "clubs". All of us coaches have benefitted from the tight knit community that is wrestling. We are devoted to our communities for the long haul. All of our coaches realize the opportunity that this sport provides young athletes to learn the values and disciplines that will carry them throughout the rest of their lives. We don't take this opportunity lightly, and it is our highest priority to not only teach high level wrestling, but to also teach our students the skills that will enable them to be good people, hard workers, and hopefully honest members of their community. Please see our About Us page for a more detailed vision of our goal.

Mile High Wrestling Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Each member of our coaching staff has wrestled at the college level or above.
